Postnatal Yoga, like Prenatal Yoga, is oriented to the special needs of new mothers. Babies of pre-crawling age are welcome to this class.

Melanie is a yoga teacher, mother of two, and co-director of the Berkeley Yoga Center. Born and raised in Texas, she started practicing yoga in 1992 in Austin. She made her way to Berkeley in 1997 and has been teaching yoga in the Bay Area since 2000. In her classes, Melanie makes yoga accessible to all.
